Papers of Irving Schwerké (1893-1975), Appleton, Wisconsin, international music critic, musician, writer, lecturer, and teacher and an acquaintance of several American expatriates in Paris in the 1920's and of prominent musicians such as Francis Planté. Included is extensive biographical information, newsclippings of articles by and about him, an untrimmed copy of his book "Views and Interviews," and a 1964 tape-recorded radio interview with him over Station WAPL, Appleton.
